October 31, 2024 West Principal’s Diary
What is energy? How would you define the energy that you have? Is your physical energy consistent every day? What makes it change? How do you get more energy? What drains your energy? Does hope give you energy? What are your dreams, visions and/or goals? What’s on your list? What is your story?
Graham took a shot at writing a morning prompt. If it was going to be a live story, then it was going to be a story that had all kinds of hope and joy running through it. In this story, all those who protect our neighborhoods, our schools and our countries became some of the heroes, they became our friends. They had the difficult jobs. It was the kind of job where the employee knew every day that he or she was putting his or her life on the line to protect the people and these public servants were like mama bear on the people, and the people treated them well. They were there for them.
Graham thought, “I am an American. These are just some ideas that I have and I’m throwing them out there to see what sticks. One thing I do know that sticks is all the dreams and visions that any person has from any part of the world. We have a purpose. We all have a purpose and there is great joy in going on that journey to find out that purpose and then once discovered, telling others about it, and giving back with one’s special gift.
“It was my purpose to find a way that all could be on the same page, no matter what their background, country, color, culture, identity, denomination, religious orientation, spirituality or philosophy. It didn’t matter because no matter who the person is, he or she has a unique story to tell, and now it is time for you, to tell that story. Even adults have dreams and questions about our existence on this Spaceship and now, on dream story live, they can tell of what they think is beautiful or amazing and they can put out their wonders and questions.
Whoever subscribes on Dream Story Live, should know about the story behind Dream Story. There is this wonderful company Graham has been working with and their name is SolGuruz. Graham had a dream of being able to hear the dreams of each child, of each family, of each school. He had a dream of collecting more pieces of the Infinite mastodon. He drew a few pictures of what he would like to see in an app. It is something he shared with his students and teachers, in one way or another. He saw how everyone could dream. He saw the delight in the eyes of the dreamers. At his school he would tell the students, “We are here to support your dreams as they evolve, grow, and come true and just as yours do so, so do ours. We have an incredible list of dreams we have accomplished in our lives, and we want you to have everything you need, in terms of skills and knowledge, so that you may go out into the world to achieve your dreams, goals, and visions, and while you are doing that, know that you are not alone with your dreams. There are many of us out there, all on the same page, telling our stories. The fun of it is in the overlap, where we criss cross paths with other storytellers, we delight in each other’s stories and we bond for that moment in time.
SolGuruz went above and beyond his expectations for the app and now it is something truly amazing, and it isn’t even complete yet. He warned his users about the shared dreams. They could add content but it would be likely deleted at some point unless it could be saved. He was asking SolGuruz if they could make it so that each shared dream had the spiral, along with a blog. He also asked his users not to upgrade to premium yet, until SolGuruz worked out some bugs.
What is my piece today that I am adding? Here is an example of a dream that I’ve been working on for many years, and SolGuruz was instrumental in making my dream come true, and now it is your turn. As a School Principal and Principal owner of The Master Storytellers, I can tell you that we are here to help your personal dreams and your shared dreams to come true. All you have to do is start telling your story, one page, one day at a time. Your story is live, with many millions on Dream Story Live.
My piece - in a nutshell - is that we are all creators. We can imagine something and we can build, do, play, draw, that thing we imagined. That is the process of creation. We first imagine it, and then we do it. It is the actions that make your creations come true and most often, it requires a lot of hard work. we may not know everything but we can still create.. Trying to discover everything is an endless journey into the unknown. It can be a fun journey because there are many like minded people you will find along the way. What is it that you would like to make? What do you imagine? What are your dreams and therefore hopes? These are some of mine.
