Graham was back on a plane to Albuquerque. He thought about his meeting with SolGuruz and he was thrilled, not just that Dream Story was ready to be published, but because he made a new friend. Even Though Graham was almost 100 years old, he was happy that he could still make friends. This friend was helping him to create a way that people from all around the world could share their dreams. Why would anyone ever want to know their dreams?
He was in the middle seat. The passengers on each side of him weren’t talking, but neither was Graham. Everyone still had too much to think about. Graham went through his old notes on his iPhone. He consolidated and deleted. After doing that he had a total of 25 notes, Movies, Lawyer, camping, Bethlehem, SolGuruz, Casa, Shopping in Town, Children, and more. A thought came to his mind and so he made a new folder and called it “Thoughts.” He wrote, “Perhaps with ‘I don’t know’ there is a forward flow. With, ‘I believe reality is like this’ it freezes reality to be like that. So go with the flow.”
He opened his Kindle app and started reading “The Ascension Handbook.” He liked the book. It gave him a new perspective and he liked contemplating because he wanted to know the whole truth. He came to the conclusion that he may never know the whole truth, but that would never never stop him from trying to find out, from asking the questions of the IM, which was only a metaphor for the Infinite, something someone could put in their mind and imagine the Infinite because he found it impossible to put the Infinite in his mind. That would mean he would know everything. If he couldn’t know everything then that would stop him from wanting to know more, to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Who else was writing a live movie? Was it only the Master Storytellers?
He had his pocbuds on, opened spotify, and played “Waiting Between Worlds.” And he began to read, trying to understand, trying to imagine and then he came upon a quote. It was one that he had previously highlighted, “Belief is sudden death to your search for truth. Once you believe you stop looking. If you’re skeptical, good.” Graham thought, “Is it bad to be skeptical?” What does skeptical mean. He double checked the meaning of skeptical, and he wrote, “I will definitely add this to one of my identities. ‘IM skeptical.” “IM skeptical of the current story” I will never stop believing in the power of my dreams and the dreams of others. It is there they will be able to connect. There was this feeling of separation out there. “You are never separated. We are with you, all of us on an adventure into the unknow, but we are neither pathless or dreamless. We have many personal and shared dreams and each day we wake up to write our stories in the infinite spiral grid. We have the same shared stories but we each have our unique personal stories.”
Graham liked the quote because he didn’t like sudden death and that is what he experienced in his life, in sincerely practicing, living, believing, trying with 100% effort and honesty, he found that when he lived a belief in a certain way he experienced sudden death of his spirit. It was at Rhythmia in Costa Rica when he got his vision, his miracle, as they call it. He got to see other worlds and it made sense and Subb’s book was beginning to make sense.
Major religions believe that God is Infinite. In their prayer and meditation they would spend time and energy sincerely wanting to connect with the Infinite. The time needed for our spiritual leaders is 4-6 hours daily in silence, contemplation, and all forms of meditation, and writing and dancing, and then it is back to sweeping floors, doing the daily work as mentioned by Yogananda. Graham typically did this by himself, in his dream studio. He would like to be a Rabbi, a Priest, a Pastor, Medicine Man, or a Shaman. This would allow him the time to commune with the Great Spirit, as he called it. The people would understand that he or she needed this time to communicate. He didn’t know what to call the Infinite so he playfully and respectfully called it the IM. The IM name would come out soon. He wasn’t ready to say the full name yet. He had to first start the trademark work.
He visualized that he was in a raft with all his friends and family. It was a huge raft that was going down a very windy river. Sometimes there would be quite calm waters and then there were the rapids and it was back to the calm waters and this cycle repeated. He was telling them that, relatively speaking, they had been in the calm waters for too long and some of the journeys were even becoming stagnant. He had been down this river many times, it was the river of the unknown. He was coming back to his people to take them on the most exhilarating ride of their lives.
